Marathon -- here I come!

No -- not Marathon, Florida.

The Christmas Eve Marathon. For years we have had the same schedule -- 7 PM, 9 PM and 11 PM. On Christmas Day we have one service instead of the usual routine -- 10 AM.

I love the services.

I love the candles.

The music.

The children.

And yes, even the CEO's who come to visit -- you know who you are. Christmas and Easter Only.

I hope everyone has a Happy Christmas and a Merry Holy Day.

Hope it was another wonderful year. I'm happy to hear you planned on having services. From what I've heard newspapers are full of notices of "NO SERVICE ON SUNDAY" because Christmas happened to fall on a Sunday this year. What the heck? NOOoooo, we can't celebrate the Lord's Day AND Christmas! (oozing with sarcasm)

Anyway, Hope your Christmas was wonderful and that the New Year brings you to a closer and even more fulfilling relationship with Christ.

I wasn't even close to that schedule, but then again my two parishes are still tiny.

Wishing you a blessed Christmas Season.
